Technicolor Prisma: Full Spectrum Digital Content Delivery Platform

The Technicolor Prisma™ platform provides hosted modular or end-to-end support for content encoding & encryption, Digital Rights Management, hosting & storage, promotions and ad management, streaming or download delivery, order fulfillment as well as reporting and forensics.

Demonstrations
Technicolor will demonstrate its content download & streaming capabilities as well as merchant and content provider portals that enable effective and efficient management of digital content across the Internet.


Disc Initiated Services™

The Technicolor Prisma platform provides the backend component for “hybrid” physical media that can be electronically connected to the Internet, such as Standard Definition Managed Copy license delivery and High Definition Blu-ray and HD DVD connected, interactive functions.

Demonstrations
The Technicolor SD Disc Initiated Services™ demonstration will show an SD disc connecting live to the Internet enabling the consumer to purchase and receive a license to unlock a digital copy of the film direct from disc that can be downloaded for portable consumption.

The Technicolor HD Disc Initiated Services™ will demonstrate a live innovative “connected” trivia game that users can play in real time against one another or against the network on both HD DVD and Blu-ray formats. Technicolor will also be presenting its High Definition Features and Functions field study that comprised a 3 US city focus group study and a 1,000 person Internet survey.
