Charles (Chuck) Parker is Executive Vice President for Technicolor Home Entertainment Services-International. Since 2003, Parker has overseen all aspects of Technicolor’s European video and optical manufacturing and distribution operations. This includes managing turnkey fulfillment and distribution services, all facets of inventory management & warehousing, invoicing and collections, as well as managing the commercial relationship of Technicolor Home Entertainment customers and the P&L of the THES business in Europe and from 2005 in Austral-Asia. Since 2006, he is responsible for the creation and the worldwide launch of the division dedicated to the Electronic Distribution of video to the home.

Mr. Parker joined the company in 1996 and has held several senior management positions since his appointment. Prior to joining the company he was a combat officer serving the US Army. He holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated with honors.

Scott Dougall - Senior Vice President and General Manager

Scott Dougall is senior vice president and general manager of Electronic Distribution Services for Technicolor Home Entertainment Services, a business unit that targets telecommunications providers, online retailers, and a wide range of content owners and distributors to provide managed services which facilitate content distribution over Internet protocol (IP) networks.

Based in the company’s offices in Burbank, Calif., Dougall is responsible for building and leading the company’s strategy, business plan and anticipated growth for digital distribution of content to the home including video-on-demand (VoD), Internet protocol television (IPTV), satellite, wireless, electronic devices, and other related channels. His other executive roles at Technicolor have included helping to build the electronic distribution services function overall, and planning strategy for the company’s internal production networks.

Previously, Dougall was the director of Software Platforms for Skystream Networks and general manager of SkyStream Canada, which was acquired by U.K.-based Tandberg Television in early 2006. At SkyStream, he was responsible for all of the design, development and marketing of the zBand suite of software. Dougall joined the company in 1999, bringing a lifelong experience in the broadcast industry, and years of experience in software development.

Prior to that, Dougall was the president and founder of Varuna Software, a Canadian-based company that he founded to explore the future of broadcast. This research resulted in the development of the Jetstream Data Broadcast System, a system for managing the aggregation and broadcast of computer based media. Skystream acquired Varuna in September, 1999, integrating all of the company’s employees and products, with Dougall running the company’s Northern Campus in Thunder Bay Ontario, Canada.

Dougall has an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a joint undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Economics from Queen's University in Canada. He also sits on the board of directors of his family's television and radio broadcast companies.

Lance Ware - Chief Technology Officer

Lance Ware serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Technicolor’s Electronic Distribution Services group and has over a decade of digital media space experience. As CTO, Ware is responsible for Technicolor’s digital supply chain platform that supports content ingest, hosting, security, delivery, and fulfillment.

Prior to joining Technicolor, Ware was the co-founder and CEO of SyncCast, a leading digital media fulfillment company specializing in encoding and transcoding, digital rights management, delivery and distribution, as well as content management services. The technologies and services developed under Ware’s tutelage power solutions for such distinguished companies as Microsoft, Billboard, Warner Music Group, The Motion Picture Association of America, Lionsgate Entertainment, NBC Universal, EMI Music Group, DirecTV and many others.

One crowning achievement of Ware’s career is the role that he and SyncCast played in launching Microsoft’s Xbox Video Market Place. Ware brought the end-to-end electronic fulfillment assets of SyncCast to bear what enabled Microsoft Xbox to successfully capture the second highest market share in the video download space - within a matter of months. The success of this accomplishment caught the attention of Technicolor which fully acquired SyncCast in July of 2007 and appointed Ware as CTO.

Ware holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Jean-Christophe Mison - Vice President Technology

Jean-Christophe Mison is Vice President, Technology of Electronic Distribution Services for Technicolor Home Entertainment Services, a division that targets telecommunications providers, online retailers, and a wide range of content owners and distributors to provide managed services which facilitate content distribution over Internet protocol (IP) networks.

Bringing years of experience in software development and system integration, Mison joined the broadband industry in 1999 while working on the integration of a joint research laboratory between EADS (Aerospatiale Matra at that time), the INRIA and l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Lyon (two well-known French research agencies). Mison was responsible of transitioning the project from the research world to a commercial solution, extending the originally-designed CDN to a full IPTV service platform. This was launched in 2002 in Austria (www.aon.tv) as the PeakFrame platform—one of the first commercial IPTV solutions in Europe, featuring live TV, video-on-demand and games. Over the next few years, as Head of Technology, Mison lead the design, development and industrialization of innovative new services (such as network PVR and B2B content aggregation in 2003 and community video in 2004). Mison joined Thomson in 2004, when the solution developed within EADS was acquired by Thomson Telecom. Head of Technology for the broadband video systems and solutions group, he leaded the integration of this platform with Thomson IP set-top box, delivering services to customers around the world and addressing new B2B markets (Digital Signage, Française des jeux).

Prior to that, Mison lead several development teams for Matra and Cap Sesa (Cap Gemini group). He worked on the development of several Control and Command systems that have been used operationally by the French Navy.

Mison has an engineering degree in Computer Science from l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace in Toulouse, France.

Mark Langford - VP Marketing & Product Management

Mark Langford is the VP of Marketing and Product Management for Technicolor Electronic Distribution Services and is responsible for all online content delivery marketing strategy as well as for directing service specifications and platform functional design. Mr. Langford has extensive and diverse electronic content acquisition and distribution experience and has worked domestically and abroad in the Telco, MSO and Broadcast markets for both vendor and service providers alike.

Mr. Langford was VP of Product Development for the innovative MovieBeam Video on Demand network. He developed the VoD, HDTV and IPTV product strategy for UPC Cablecom in Switzerland. He also led the Broadband Entertainment division at Swisscom (the incumbent Swiss Telco) for three years. While at Swisscom, he was a key figure in the development and deployment of the IPTV roll-out, designing the TVoDSL offer and negotiating all of Swisscom’s worldwide content and OEM contracts (set-top box, middleware - Microsoft TV - and system integrator contracts).

Earlier in his career, Mr. Langford was a Principal at an international systems integration firm (AMS) and spent two years on Wall Street (Salomon Bros). Mr. Langford earned an MBA with concentration in IT and Marketing from the Harvard Business School in 1991. He now resides in Los Angeles, CA with his wife and two sons.

Tom McDonough - Vice President of Operations

Tom has 20-years Engineering and Operations Management experience in the High Tech, Consumer Goods and Retail Industries. Tom leads the Electronic Distribution Services Operations Team, including Customer Service, Content Processing and Network Engineering.

Prior to being recruited to Technicolor, Tom worked as an Operations Management Consultant with Pattiglio, Rabin, Todd & McGrath (PRTM), partnering with leading High Tech Firms on development of Operations Strategy and execution of supporting projects. Tom spent 8-years with the Teradata division of NCR Corporation developing Supply Chain and Information Management solutions for Consumer Goods and Retail Customers. He began his career as a Production Engineer with Hewlett Packard Corporation.

Tom has led several operations and services teams from startup to full operational capacity, integrating them with acquiring firms or developing them as divisions within public companies. He has designed and executed integrated business and IT solutions in the areas of Customer Service, Sales Operations, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Manufacturing and Order Management for over 50 Fortune 500 clients and employers.

Tom has an MBA from the University of Michigan and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Tom resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
